Menu
Baked goods out of the case, bowls out of the kitchen, drinks made at the counter. Open 9–5, closed Thursdays.
The Case
Roughly a dozen kinds of buns and pastries, baked and fried through the morning and set out in the twenty-foot case. Best before noon — when a tray is gone, it is gone for the day.
Egg Tart
Flaky shell, glossy set custard, still warm if you get there early.
BBQ Pork Bun
The baked one — burnished top, sweet-savory char siu inside.
BBQ Pork Steamed Bun
Same filling, cloud-white steamed dough, pulled from the warmer.
Pork Steamed Bun
Seasoned pork, pleated and steamed. The plain and perfect one.
Pineapple Bun
No pineapple — a sweet crackled sugar-crust top over soft milk bread.
Pork Floss Bun
Soft roll finished with a drift of savory pork floss.
Hot Dog Flower
Sausage petals opened out on enriched dough, sesame across the top.
Chicken Curry Bun
Warm yellow curry chicken tucked into a soft baked bun.
Matcha Custard Bun
Green tea custard, gently bitter against the sweet dough.
Taro Twist
Earthy, faintly sweet taro braided through a pastry twist.
Sesame Black Bean Roll
Black bean paste rolled and rolled again, sesame throughout.
Sesame Ball
Fried glutinous rice, hollow and chewy, crusted in sesame seed.
Ham Sui Gok
Fried glutinous rice dumpling, curried beef in the middle.
You Tiao
Long fried dough sticks. Tear them into the congee.
